Sivani (She/Her) is a Sydney filmmaker/creative producer living on Darug land. As a filmmaker, her aspirations and intentions are to provide a space for individuals that were historically not listened to. Her works range from cinematography, producing, content creation and workshop facilitation within the community arts sector. As an artist, depicting unconventional views to the audience and disrupting the norms and values is something that she proceeds to further develop in her upcoming projects.

She is regularly contracted by Flashpoint Labs, a social enterprise that delivers professional photography and videography services with social impact. Sivani is primarily a first assistant to the lead photographer, gaffer, digital camera operator and a lead photographer. Some of the brands and organisations that she has worked with are IKEA, Westpac, Vincent Fairfax Family Foundation, Commbank, Ausgrid and various others. Previously, Sivani has co-produced events and workshops for Fairfield City Museum & Galleries and the Fairfield City Council. She was also a screening committee member for SXSW Sydney 2023 and held roles at the Western Sydney Community Forum as the creative coordinator and at CuriousWorks (FUNPARK) as the creative producer/digital communications officer.

Through her extensive work in the community, she takes great pride in building a rapport with the people she collaborates with which allows for a sense of trust and safety to be set in place. As a creative artist, Sivani's work aims to celebrate place and people and she is always exploring how to curate a connection between culture, ambition and art.
